Mushroom Tea

Ingredients: Turkey Tail, Lions Mane, Hot Water

Directions: Put a teaspoon of lions mane into your tea cup. Place a quarter sized piece of Turkey tail into your tea cup. Pour 200F water into the tea cup. Leave mushrooms in and sip once cooled.

This is how I make my mushroom tea that I drink daily. When our reishi mushrooms are ready I’ll put a piece of that mushroom in my tea cup as well. The taste is much like a mild bone broth. Lions mane helps the nervous system, improving memory and movement while reducing stress. Turkey Tail is immunigolically beneficial, and helps control the growth of bacteria in the gut. I’ve kept it up for about 3 months and enjoy this ritual. -Andrea Gorham
