Online Ordering Has Ended

We will once again be a farmers market ONLY type of farm. My apologies to our dear customers that have enjoyed this service. Especially during this time of extreme heat stress we have pushed some products that we are not proud of. So in order to keep our quality standards high, this service will have to go.

For the 2020 pandemic we began offering pick up on farm, and online ordering through Barn2Door. Farmers markets were afraid to open, although outdoor markets are safer than grocery stores in a pandemic scenario, no-one wanted to spread covid-19. Offering a safe option was our priority during this time. Now that the farmers markets are going strong, we do not see the need to continue this service.

We have made some mistakes with the ordering process, from keeping inventory perfectly up to date and estimating the correct of amount of what would be available. We have made mistakes in packing the orders, labeling the orders, and just having it out at the correct time. Thank you to all of whom that have put up with our blunders and have been flexible with us. Though we try to learn and improve, we are human sometimes make the same mistake, multiple times.

This year has been much hotter than last year, and much dryer as well. The quality of our produce suffers when the weather is undesirable. I do not wish to promise produce that does not live up to our quality standards. Having this online inventory is an estimate with what will be available, and at the farmers market I can bring what is good and the customer is able to choose what looks good to them. This way we can both confirm we accept the quality of the good.

So I hope to see you at the farmers market where we can focus on brining the best of our produce.
